Amazon interview loop is as much about system design and DSA as it is about how you demonstrate ownership and decision-making (LPs) through your past work. Be ready for follow-up questions, they really dig into "why" and "how" behind each decision. Most of the interviews went well beyond 60 minutes especially the HM round. Rejected the offer.

My stock component: 40K USD vested over 4 years (40%, 30%, 20%, 10%), which translates to a first-year annual vest of approximately 13.28 LPA (assuming 1 USD = 83 INR). My total first-year compensation: 42.28 LPA. My location: Completely remote. My tech stack involves Java, Springboot, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and parts of Cloud and Data Engineering. There is mixed feedback on WLB at OCI. OCI generally does not offer hikes.

I have ~1 YOE as an engineer. I received a call from Goldman Sachs (GS) regarding a potential offer in the GBM equities division. During the discussion, they pressured me to disclose my expected salary. I requested a base salary of 24-25 LPA, which they stated would not be possible. They also asked me for the lowest salary I would accept, but I did not provide a number. I have a 90-day notice period at my current organization. They requested a commitment from me not to join any other organization during this notice period.

I recently received an L4 offer from Google for the Bangalore office. In the offer letter, I provided my hometown address, but my current residential address (departure location) is different. The distance from my current address to Bangalore is greater than the distance from my hometown to Bangalore. I would like to know if the relocation bonus is impacted by the distance from the departure location.
