I am deciding between Delhivery and Criteo for a backend SDE-2 role. I am evaluating companies based on long-term growth and engineering quality. I am seeking backend-heavy work, system design exposure, team quality, and overall stability.

My Background: College: Tier 1 Company: Tier 2 MNC Current comp: 23 LPA YOE: 3.5 years Offer Details: Base: 33 LPA RSU: $12,400 (vested over 4 years, approx. 2.573 LPA annually) I perceive this as a super low-ball offer and am seeking negotiation advice. I will share interview experience soon.

My CTC for this offer is 80L. My base salary is 28L. I am offered 11L in stocks (not yet listed). The remaining amount of 41L is listed as benefits.

I interviewed with Oracle. They downgraded me to IC2 after the interview rounds, as I was interviewed for an IC3 role. They are saying they don't give stocks at that level. The maximum they can offer is 25 as total CTC. I have 3.6 years of experience.

I am currently holding an offer from Roku for a Senior Software Engineer role. My offer details are: Base: 85 lacs 72k USD stocks vested over 2 years (quarterly) PF: 4.08 lacs My TC stays flat year on year at 1.2 CR.

Education: B.Tech Non-CSE, Old IIT Prior Experience: SDE at a PBC (mid-tier) Previous CTC: Rs. 19.5 LPA (16 fixed + 2 variable + 1.5 RSUs) I selected the offer as it was a good hike on my current compensation, plus the brand value. I do think I have been low-balled. Initially they offered me shares worth USD 30,000 and it was super-shocking. I managed to get it to USD 50,000. Advice needed - I am currently in loop for Oracle. So, is there any chance that I can use Oracle's offer (assuming I get one) to re-negotiate with Microsoft ? I have 7.5 YOE. My current CTC is ~48 LPA (36 LPA Fixed + PF, 3 LPA Bonus, ~9 LPA stocks per year). I received an offer with a total compensation of ~72 LPA, which includes 45 LPA (Fixed + PF), 6 LPA Bonus, and ~21 LPA in stocks per year. I am confused about whether to join this company, considering the hike on the base salary is not significant. I am seeking suggestions on whether I am underpaid in my current organization and if this is a good hike/offer from my current role.

I interviewed with Guidewire, likely for a Software Engineer role. My interview process was very structured and technical, consisting of multiple rounds. I went through an Online Assessment, DSA-based rounds (including one by an engineer abroad and another from Korea with machine coding), and multiple Onsite rounds focusing on technical, managerial, and cultural fit aspects. The offered compensation discussed was ₹19 LPA base, with an additional bonus mentioned but not quantified. HR initiated my background verification (BGV) even before I completed the final rounds, giving me confidence. After the final round, I was asked for additional Aadhaar card details, which led me to believe I had cleared all stages. However, I subsequently faced a period of silence, followed by an HR response stating that “the position is currently on hold, and we can’t proceed with your profile right now.” I received no specific feedback or closure, which was a disheartening end to weeks of effort.

I received an offer for SDE 2 from Rubrik. My total compensation package is approximately 85 LPA.

The benefits here are more as compared to Oracle. I am concerned about the work environment here.

I have been offered a role in the Microsoft IC2 Azure Storage team. My base location is India (Bangalore). I was told by HR, after speaking with the Hiring Manager, that I can work remotely. I am seeking confirmation from Microsoft employees regarding rumors about Return-To-Office (RTO) policies, specifically for the Azure Storage team in Bangalore.

I received an offer for a Senior Data Scientist (IC3) role. My years of experience are 2.2 years. The offer includes a Base Salary of ₹32,50,000. There is a Performance Bonus (Target) of 10% of Base (~₹3,25,000). RSUs are 49,000 USD over 4 years (~$12,000 per year), which is ~₹10,56,000 per year using an exchange rate of ~₹88/USD. My Total First Year TC is estimated at ~₹46,31,000 + PF + Gratuity. The job location is Remote (India).

I received an offer from Amazon. I cleared all interview rounds. The recruiter asked about my notice period, which is 90 days. I was asked to negotiate my notice period to 30-40 days. I attempted to negotiate to 60 days. I received a selection mail asking me to join on November 3, which is 20 days from now. I am concerned my current company may not agree to the notice period negotiation.

I received an offer from EPAM Systems Pune for the role of Senior Software Engineer. My current Years of Experience is 4.5 years. The CTC offered is 23 LPA, which is all fixed. The job mode is Hybrid. I was asked to join in 45 days. My provisional decision is to reject the offer as I feel it is a lowball.

I received an offer for SDE2. My years of experience are 6. The base salary component is 60 LPA. Stocks offered are 40L (deferred cash, 10L/year). A joining bonus of 2L was included. The total compensation package is 78 LPA. The job location is Hyderabad. This was a verbal offer. I noted that this offer was significantly lower than other counter offers I received (82L+). Kotak has a 90-day notice period.

I applied through referral. My interview process with RSA Security for a backend role involved four rounds: **Round 1 — Technical Screening**: This round involved project discussion, backend basics, and a medium-level DSA question. **Round 2 — Deep Technical (Java + Spring Boot + Microservices)**: This round covered backend architecture, Java fundamentals, a coding question on IPv4 validation, and a Java code output question. **Round 3 — Hiring Manager Round**: This conversational round focused on my UBS project work, day-to-day activities, tech stack, self-rating on various skills, API versioning, idempotent REST APIs, and JWT implementation. **HR Round**: This round covered typical HR topics, my expectations from RSA, motivation to move to Bangalore, and compensation discussion. I was offered a base salary of ₹16.82 LPA and a total compensation of ~₹18.6 LPA for the Bangalore location. I ultimately rejected this offer.

I received an offer for an SSE position. Salary discussion is still pending for this role. This role requires 2 days Work From Office (WFO). It also includes some additional perks.

I have heard the culture at GS is not good. They do not allow to carry office laptops at home. I am seeking advice on the culture at GS and whether I should consider joining.
