Coinbase | SDE3 | Remote(India) | Sep' 24 [Offer]

I recently completed my interview process for the Senior SDE (SDE3) position at Coinbase, ultimately receiving an offer. The journey began with an Online Assessment, which consisted of a 90-minute coding challenge with one question split into four parts; I needed to solve at least three to qualify. This was followed by a 20-minute behavioral and logical reasoning assessment.

The Virtual Onsite phase comprised four distinct rounds, each lasting one hour and emphasizing communication skills.

In Round 1, I tackled a coding question that also had multiple parts. I successfully solved four parts with working code, passing all test cases.

Round 2 was another coding challenge, again with multiple parts. I managed to solve three parts with working code and passed all test cases.

Round 3 focused on System Design. I was tasked with designing a high-level system for a stock broker that could display live prices of assets.

Finally, Round 4 was the Hiring Manager (HM) round. This involved a discussion about my past work experience and the specific role at Coinbase. Leadership experience was considered a bonus. Communication skills were assessed throughout this round as well.
