Fixed CTC: ₹17.5 LPA Joining Bonus: ₹4 LPA Retention Bonus: ₹10 LPA (distributed as ₹4L + ₹4L + ₹2L over 3 years)

I received an offer from Samsung R&D in Noida. My base salary is 52 Lakhs per annum. The variable bonus is 3 Lakhs. I was offered a one-time joining bonus of 1 Lakh. I was offered a one-time retention bonus of 2 Lakhs. I was offered a one-time relocation bonus of 1.5 Lakhs. My total compensation is 59.5 Lakhs, including all bonuses. A concern I have is that online reviews mention work-life balance issues. Samsung HR informed me that there is a performance-based bonus which is not part of the CTC.

I received an offer for the Lead Engineer (CL2/TB5) role at Samsung. My years of experience are 3 years 5 months. The job is located in Bengaluru (SRI-B). The base salary offered is 27.1 LPA. The total compensation, including a sign-on bonus for the first year, is 37.4 LPA. Other components include 1.39 LPA for PF and a 4.86 LPA target bonus. A sign-on bonus of 3.4 lakh is included for the first year.

I am a Campus Hire, with a Summer Intern Conversion (PPO). I completed my college from a Tier-1 IIT (old 7 IITs). My offer includes a Festival Bonus of ~₹0.83 L, which varies. There is a Joining Bonus of ₹4 L, paid after 3 months, with a clawback if I leave within 1 year. Overall CTC is decent but a significant portion includes variables like Target MBO Incentive, Performance MBO, and a Company Bonus Fixed basic is comparatively low
