I received an offer for the P50 role. My previous total compensation was 1.12cr. The offer included a base of 68 LPA, $160K in stock, a 10 Lakhs joining bonus, and a 15% annual target bonus. The first year's total compensation was 1.25cr. I declined the offer. I declined due to better competing offers and a minimal TC spike. I got this offer in 2025.

I accepted the SDE2 (P40) offer at Atlassian. My experience is 6 years. The base salary is ₹58L. The total compensation for the first year is ₹100L. This includes an annual bonus of 14% (₹8.12L), a joining bonus of ₹6.5L, and RSUs valued at ~₹23L/year. The offer provides a significant increase in total compensation and long-term equity growth.

My offer is for Level P40 (SDE2). The offer was received in November 2025. My Base Salary is 57 Lakhs INR. I also receive an Annual Bonus of 15% (8.55 Lakhs). There is a Joining Bonus of 7 Lakhs. My RSU grant is 100k USD over 4 years (equivalent to 22.27 Lakhs per year). Other benefits include PF 2.7 Lakhs, a Miscellaneous bonus of 1 Lakh, and equity refreshers. My Total Compensation for the 1st year is 99 Lakhs INR. Total Compensation from year 2 onwards is 92 Lakhs INR.

I am concerned about Work-Life Balance (WLB) at Atlassian. I am hearing mixed signals about stability and internal shifts (APEX/org reshuffling) at the company.

I am seeking insights on the current compensation breakup (base, bonus, RSUs, joining bonus) for P30 offers. I am also interested in RSU grant trends, specifically if Atlassian has been conservative. I am looking for negotiation tips from those with 1-2+ YOE.
