**WebKul Selection Process On Campus**
Summary
I successfully navigated WebKul's on-campus selection process for a Python Developer role, which included two machine coding rounds, two technical interviews, and a final HR discussion. I cleared all stages and received an offer.
Full Experience
I participated in WebKul's on-campus recruitment drive, which initially saw around 370 students. The entire process was quite challenging but also an exciting journey.
Round 1 (Machine Round)
This round was a 60-minute coding test focused on pattern-based problems. Out of the initial 370 participants, only 28 of us managed to crack this stage.
Round 2 (Machine Round)
Another coding test followed, this time lasting 90 minutes, and we were strictly allowed to use Python. The question was again centered on logical and problem-solving patterns. Surprisingly, all 28 of us who cleared the first round also passed this one.
Technical Round 1
This interview focused purely on my problem-solving skills. The interviewers were keen to see my thought process and approach to coding problems, not just the final answer. This round was quite selective, shortlisting only 10 students.
Technical Round 2
This round delved deeper into my Python skills, as the drive was specifically for a Python Developer role. After this stage, only 7 of us advanced to the final HR round.
HR Round
In the HR round, I was asked questions such as:
- "Where do you see yourself after 3 years?"
- "Tell me about yourself that is not mentioned in your resume."
- "Walk me through your project — what’s special in it?"
There was also a salary discussion during this round.
About 20 minutes later, the results were announced — and all 7 of us who reached this stage successfully cracked it! We received the Notice of Intent (NOI) along with warm congratulations from the panel.
This entire journey truly taught me the immense value of consistent DSA practice, having strong Python fundamentals, and the confidence to explain my projects thoroughly.
Interview Questions (3)

Walk me through your project — what’s special in it?
Preparation Tips
My preparation largely focused on consistent DSA practice, building solid Python fundamentals, and enhancing my ability to confidently explain my projects. These areas proved crucial throughout the selection process.
