Summary

I recently completed my SDE I interview experience at UiPath, successfully navigating four rounds, including data structures and algorithms, an onsite peer programming challenge involving React, and two hiring manager discussions, ultimately resulting in a job offer.

Full Experience

Hello,

I recently appeared for UiPath SDE I interview experience.

Passout Year - 2024 Current Company - Wells Fargo Total Experience - 1.5 YoE

I applied via referral and got a call from the recruiter after a few weeks. The first interview was scheduled on the next day.

Round 1 - Data Structures and Algorithms

It was as online round. The interviewer asked 2 DSA questions.

The round went pretty well and I was able to solve both the problems. I got a call from the recruiter after a few days regarding the next round.

Round 2 - Onsite Peer Programming

This was an onsite round. I was asked to develop a React component with features like fetch data from an API from a given endpoint, user will give an input, and suggestions should be shown from the data based on the input, when clicked on a suggestion it should populate the input box. The component had to be dynamically configurable for the filter logic, endpoint, etc.

I was able to implement a working solution quickly and complet all the reuirements. Then the interviewer asked some follow-up questions on optimizing the search, implementing the filter-on-input in a different way. I was able to answer all of them. (I had prior experience in React so I didn't need to refer any documentation or use any AI tool)

Round 3 - Onsite Hiring Manager

On the same day, my HM round was scheduled in onsite setting. It was mostly around my previous experience and the projects that I have worked on. The HM dived into my tech stack and also checked on how I debug any error in production, how I handle pressure in different situations. It involved whiteboard discussion. They checked these aspects by giving different situtations. They also asked about my strengths and weaknesses. They wanted to know how much I use AI in my day-to-day activities. Overall, it was a good round and the HM looked happy with my profile and the discussion.

Round 4 - Online Hiring Manager

I got a call from the recruiter on the next day to schedule another HM round on the same day. The HM again focused on my past experiences and the projects that I have worked on. They gave me a few scnario-based questions to see how I handle pressure and different real-life scenarios. Then there was some dicsussion on why I want to join UiPath, why am I interested for this role.It went pretty well.

Verdict - Got a call from the recruiter the next day that I am selected :)
