How it went
My current profile is SDE2 at a FAANG company with 7 years of experience. I applied for the Senior Software Engineer role at SmartSheet through LinkedIn, and a recruiter quickly reached out to schedule my initial rounds. I first had a coding round, where I tackled the "Roman to Integer" problem. This was followed by a system design interview, where I was asked to design an outage detector similar to those used by AWS. After passing both of these technical rounds, I moved on to the hiring manager round with the Director of Engineering, which involved various scenario and leadership-based questions. I'm pleased to share that I received an offer the very next day.
