Osfin SDE-1 Interview Experience
Summary
I interviewed for an SDE-1 position at Osfin, which involved three rounds: a technical coding round, a Low-Level Design round, and a behavioral round with the CFO. Although I received an offer, I ultimately decided to decline it due to a negative interaction with one of the co-founders.
Full Experience
I recently interviewed for a Software Development Engineer 1 position at Osfin. The process consisted of three distinct rounds.
Technical Round 1 (1 hour)
This round primarily focused on my past projects and the technologies I've worked with. Following the discussion, I was given one coding question to solve.
Low-Level Design (LLD) Round (1 hour)
The LLD round required me to design a Parking Lot system. The expectations included designing the database schema and defining the API endpoints for the system.
CFO Round (30 minutes)
This was a behavioral round where I was asked standard questions, such as "Why are you leaving your current organization?".
I did receive an offer from Osfin, but I ultimately decided to decline it due to an unfavorable interaction and behavior I experienced with one of the co-founders during the interview process.
Interview Questions (3)
Given a text file, I needed to write code to identify and return the top 10 most frequently used words within that file.
I was tasked with designing a Parking Lot system. The key expectations were to create a comprehensive database schema and define the necessary API design for its functionalities.
I was asked basic behavioral questions, specifically focusing on my reasons for seeking a change from my current company.
