Summary

I had a series of interview rounds with LotusFlare for a Software Engineer role. After successfully completing the rounds, I was presented with a low-ball offer that I immediately denied due to their offer process.

Full Experience

Had a series of rounds with LotusFlare

Screening:
Leetcode Medium/Rainwater Tapping

Round 1:
Mid Level Questions
A brief discussion of Caches, Queues, etc

Round 2: LLD
Had an extensive design for an indexed Map, with min value to be updated, fetched and everything in O(1) time.

Round 3: HLD
It was more breadth oriented. A pretty basic question: tinyurl.
This discussion went on for all parts of stack and even mentioning the technologies and algorithms worked

Round 4: HM
Was a detailed chat about previous work, etc.

After that, I got a call from the recruiter and they played a standard script of Band degrade to present a Low Ball offer, which was half the current compensation.

Denied the offer on spot, did not bother to negotiate. I understand that the negotiations work mostly in the favour of the employer, but sometimes it is not acceptable to work for a place who behaves with people like this before you even have a foot in the door.
