Summary
I interviewed for an SDET role at JFrog, faced an open‑ended API testing scenario and a LeetCode Group Anagrams problem, and was ultimately rejected.
Full Experience
Round1:
Very openended ques, given 4 API's, POST, GET, DELETE, PUT for a restaurant system. how will i make sure the quality of whole system.
write testcases for it based on all cases i can think of.
what are testsuite / testcases. design a pseudo test framework.
Leetcode: Group anagrams.
Verdict: rejected
(didnt really prep for QA and also fcked up leetcode ques cos i tried coding it in python and couldn't (cpp guy))
Offer: 24 LPA (AFAIR)
Interview Questions (1)
Group Anagrams
Given an array of strings, group the anagrams together. Return the groups in any order.
Example: Input: ["eat", "tea", "tan", "ate", "nat", "bat"] Output: [["eat","tea","ate"],["tan","nat"],["bat"]]
Two strings are anagrams if they contain the same characters in a different order.
Preparation Tips
I did not prepare for QA topics and attempted the LeetCode problem in Python despite being a C++ developer.
