Summary

I had an interview at Fleetx which included an OA and a technical/DSA round focusing on OOPS, language-specific questions, and a DSA problem on course scheduling. I was rejected due to rustiness and difficulty with the DSA problem.

Full Experience

Round1: Before this had an OA of 2 medium Leetcode questions. This round was related to technical discussion and DSA. I was bit rusty since hadn't given in interview for over a year. The interviewer was nice , we started with introductions and then experiences. A bunch of technical questions related to OOPS, Language specific(python or Java),some tradeof and work exp questions. I was able to answer most of them but felt lagging and clearity in my explanation, although if prepared well they were straightforward enough. Some questions and discussions regarding frameworks and optimizations. Then a DSA question of course scheduling solely based on Topological Sort. I gave a solution which involved a lot of storage space and wasn't able to optimize or give the Topological Sort logic. I gave a BFS solution ivolving the graph and visiting flag marks for an array to store based on tier based sorting. All in all it was a great experience even though I failed , probably finding my way out of the rustiness that I shouldn't have had in the first order. It's different to practice DSA and a whole lot different ball game for being interview ready. Result: Rejected(Fair enough).
