Full Experience
I participated in a rapid-fire 15-minute verbal technical screen for Exa AI. The interview felt very rushed and lacked any real conversation, resembling more of an exam than an actual interview. The interviewer was low energy and didn't provide answers to my clarifying questions, which made the experience quite frustrating.
I found it particularly weird to cram a system design question into the last 5 minutes of such a short interview. Ultimately, I did not move forward with the hiring process, marking it as one of the worst interview experiences I've had.
