Interview Questions (1)
LFU Cache Implementation
Implement a Least Frequently Used (LFU) cache that supports the following operations in O(1) time:
- get(key): Return the value of the key if it exists in the cache, otherwise return -1.
- put(key, value): Insert or update the value of the key. When the cache reaches its capacity, it should evict the least frequently used key. If multiple keys have the same usage frequency, evict the least recently used one among them.
The cache should be initialized with a given capacity.
Example:
LFUCache cache = new LFUCache(2);
cache.put(1, 1);
cache.put(2, 2);
cache.get(1); // returns 1
cache.put(3, 3); // evicts key 2
cache.get(2); // returns -1 (not found)
cache.get(3); // returns 3
