I interviewed for an SDE2 Contractor role at Amazon in Banglore and was selected. The interview process included an Online Assessment, two Data Structures & Algorithms rounds, a Hiring Manager round focusing on Leadership Principles, projects, and a High-Level Design of a cart management system, followed by an HR discussion.
Full Experience
YOE - 3 years Position - SDE2 Contractor at Amazon Location - Banglore
Round 1 - OA DSA based screening round. Need to solve 5 questions in 90 mins. solved 4 fully and 1 partailly (passed 11/14 testcases). Difficulty - 2 easy, 2 medium-hard and 1 hard question.
Round 2 - DSA (60 mins) 2 medium-hard DSA question. discussed around approach, time and space complexity. then went to coding part. working code was expected.
Round 3 - HM (90 mins) Started with leadership principles, then discussion around past work experience and projects. then 1 HLD question related to cart management. discussed about tech we can use, DB design and schema, queing system. ended with discussion around work expecations and some more leadership principles.
Round 4 - HR (30 mins) Basic HR discussion on joining date, Compensation and some eadership principles.
