Offer from Sigmoid Analytics Role: Software Engineer 2 CTC: 26 LPA How I Got the Opportunity The HR reached out to me on LinkedIn, likely through Naukri.com. I was informed that they were looking for strong DSA skills, and interviews would focus heavily on problem-solving. Interview Process – 3 Rounds Round 1 – Technical + DSA We discussed my current projects and contributions. I answered a few Java fundamentals questions. DSA Questions included Set Matrix Zero and a Binary Search-based problem. Round 2 – DSA + SQL + Project The interview started with a deep dive into my project, but I struggled to explain its real-world use case to their expectations. I solved a variation of the Next Greater Element problem. I wrote different types of SQL queries involving joins and group by. Round 3 – Technical Deep Dive (Late Night, 10 PM) Feedback from previous rounds suggested focusing more on project-related discussions. Topics covered: RabbitMQ (implementation and usage), scenario-based SQL queries and performance considerations. I faced in-depth questions on Spring Boot core concepts, and I was unable to answer a few clearly, which I believe impacted the feedback. Final Outcome After the third round, the HR stated she would provide feedback, but I have not received any update or closure on the process since then.
