Software engineering salaries

My compensation details for Qualys (India) are for an Early–Mid level Software Engineer. Compensation Structure: My Base Salary (Fixed) is ~₹12–14 LPA. Internal structure: Basic (~40% of base), HRA (~40% of basic), remaining as other allowances. LTA is included (claim-based). Employer PF: ~12% of basic (included in CTC). My Total CTC is ~₹13–15 LPA. Joining Bonus: I received a one-time ₹2,00,000 joining bonus. Equity (ESOPs): I received stock options worth a few hundred shares. Standard 4-year vesting: 25% after 1 year (cliff), then monthly vesting thereafter. Exercise price equals FMV at grant. Additional Notes: There is no variable/performance bonus component. The offer has a base-heavy structure with equity providing a long-term upside. I found the company to have good Work-Life Balance and stable product company vibes.
