Base Salary: 21.5 LPA Joining Bonus: 1 LPA (1 year claw‑back) Performance Bonus: 2.15 LPA (10% of base)

I received an offer from PayU for the role of Associate Software Engineer. My education is a B.E. from a Tier-3 college. I have 2.2 years of experience (1.10 Full-time + 4 months intern). My current total compensation is 12.5 LPA. The offered base pay is 15 LPA (INR 1,500,000 including PF). I will also receive an annual bonus of 1.5 LPA. The total compensation is 16.5 LPA. The job location is Bangalore. I tried to push for a Software Engineer role instead of Associate Software Engineer, but it didn't work out. I believe this might be a lowball offer based on my experience.

Key Technical Questions: 1. Reverse a Singly Linked List - Explained pointer reversal approach and implemented it. 2. Implement Binary Search - Walked through divide-and-conquer technique with code. 3. Merge Two Sorted Linked Lists - Described merging logic and pointer movement in sorted order.
