I was given a choice to re-balance this comp structure for slightly more base and lesser equity, but I choose the above-mentioned structure. I accepted the offer. I know some of you would think that I shouldn't have done so as it's a low-balled/down-levelled offer, but at the end of the day, it was my personal decision to accept the offer and I'm happy :) Also, I do not remember my interview questions so won't be able to help you all with that.
