I received an offer for SRE Engineer role. My years of experience are 4.5 years. The company is DocuSign, located in Bangalore, India (Hybrid). Base salary is 45 Lakhs Per Annum (Excluding Employer PF). Annual Bonus is 15% of base salary. Joining Bonus is 10 Lakhs.

My education is B.Tech (Non-Circuital) from Tier-1. The offer date is July 2025. The offer includes a base salary of 52 LPA, Employer PF of 2.5 LPA, a signing bonus of 5,00,000, RSUs of $80K stock grant vested over 4 years (~17.5 LPA annually), and a target bonus of 5% of my base (2.75 LPA). My total compensation for the first year is approximately 80 LPA. I negotiated twice with a competing offer, and the recruiter stated this is their final offer. I am seeking suggestions on whether it's wise to join P3 (equivalent to SDE-2 elsewhere) at 4 YOE, or if I should aim for SSE positions after a year. I am skeptical because I've observed companies often require 5 YOE for SSEs but only consider candidates with 6 years in reality. I am also asking if anyone working at Docusign can share how long it takes to get promoted from P3 to P4.
