I interviewed for a Staff (L6-2) position at Coupang USA. The interview process involved a phone screen, multiple onsite rounds (Bar Raiser, Coding, Hiring Manager, System Design), and a follow-up System Design round. My performance led to a down-level offer for L6-1. I received a verbal offer, which included relocating to Seattle. Unfortunately, I did not receive a written offer letter as Coupang paused offers requiring H1 transfer due to a government shutdown. The recruiter indicated the offer numbers for Seattle were very good.

Offer Detail Base: 78L Bonus: 10% RSU: 74L (10, 10, 40, 40) Vesting Cycle Cash Lieu: 22.2L per year (paid quarterly) for 2 year to compensate RSU % for 2 year.
