My education is B.Tech CSE from a 3-tier college. I have 4.3 years of experience. My prior experience was as an SDE-3 at a startup. My current CTC is Rs. 68 LPA (54 fixed + 14 LPA ESOP). CRED Offer Details: Salary: Rs. 70 LPA (Fixed) ESOPs: Rs 1 Crore vested over 4 years (10% in 1st year, 20% in 2nd, 30% in 3rd, 40% in 4th). I cleared all tech rounds at CRED and received an acceptance. I am seeking help with salary negotiation for the CRED offer. My previous role was SDE-2 at Zepto, and I was impacted by layoffs last month. My previous compensation at Zepto was ₹40 LPA fixed and ₹30L ESOPs . I have 4 years 6 months of experience working on backend and scalable distributed systems. CRED is aware of my previous compensation and layoff situation. I am asking the community for a realistic and fair expected salary range and insight into structuring fixed vs ESOPs at CRED.

This internship at CRED was initially offered with a promise of 6 months + FTE. I received a monthly stipend of INR 1,00,000. However, the experience was challenging and included: Being put on-call in the first month itself. Expected to work till 2–3 AM regularly. Forced daily office presence with no flexibility.
