My base salary offer is ₹60L. I received a bonus of 10% of base (variable on performance). My stocks (vested value / yr) are 75k USD (₹66.53L). I also have a joining bonus of ₹8L. My total compensation for Year 1 (including RSUs & bonuses) is ₹1.40 Cr. For Years 2–4, my ongoing compensation (excluding joining bonus) is Base ₹60L + (Variable) Bonus ₹6L + Stocks ₹66.53L = ₹1.32 Cr / yr. I went through a total of 8 rounds of interviews. My previous profile was very similar to this job role.

I received an offer for the ICT3 role at Apple India. My current Years of Experience (YOE) is 6. The base salary component is 37 LPA. Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) are 110k USD, vesting over 4 years, which equates to an annual value of approximately 22.825 LPA (assuming 1 USD = 83 INR). A performance bonus of 7% of the base salary is included, which is 2.59 LPA. There is a joining bonus of 2 LPA. The total compensation for the first year is estimated to be 64.415 LPA (Base + Annual RSU + Performance Bonus + Joining Bonus).

I have a background with IIT education and 3 years of experience. I received an offer from Apple for the ICT3 role. The offer includes a Base Salary of ₹31.6L. Got an offer after giving interviews since 20 months for 100+ teams at Apple. 13-14 rounds is absolute bullshit for a candidate who might leave for better offer or is not worth that rest of the better candidates. Even the offer won't be upto market standards if there isn't any competing offer. Interviewed with Apple India for software engineering role. Had multiple 45 minutes interview rounds. Primarily interviewers were from US. 2 coding + 2 system design & 4-5 technical discussion. Recieved offer today. Help me evaluate. I don't have any competing offers. Tier - 1 uni grad. 7 YOE. Currently Series A startup. For 3 years. INR 81 LPA in-hand cash + (ESOP worth 356k USD) Offer: INR 39 LPA Base + (150k RSU USD) + 4 Lac joining + (gratuity + PF will be separate from this offer). Recruiter highlighted that net-net MNCs in India are not matching startup salaries. She suggested my interview feedback is top notch.
