Second Round: System Design where I designed an auction platform, focusing on DB schemas, scaling, and low latency APIs (caching). I also discussed an interesting project from my past work. Third Round: LLD discussion with Hiring Manager, primarily focused on my work experience at Zepto, design choices from my projects, and building an inventory service using NoSQL. We also discussed design patterns used in my old projects. Fourth Round (DSA): I implemented an interface to navigate browser history and basic arithmetic operations (+,-,*,/) without using any inbuilt functions, using GoLang. Bar Raiser: I was asked questions based on LPs related to ownership and 2 DSA questions (rotten oranges - graph BFS, asteroid collisions - Stack). I heard back from the recruiter in two days and received an offer.

Interview Experience: **Round 1:** I solved two DSA problems: K most frequent elements and Generate all subsets. I also discussed time and space complexity for each solution. **Round 2:** I solved two DSA problems: Rotten oranges variation and k distance nodes in binary tree. For the second problem, I developed a recursive approach without storing parent nodes, and discussed time and space complexity. **Round 3 (Bar Raiser):** I was given one DSA problem to find the shortest path from a source to a target in a tree and print the path using 'A', 'B', 'C' codes. I optimized the solution using the LCA approach. This was followed by a couple of LP scenario-based questions. **Result:** I received a job offer exactly one week after the interview rounds.

I applied to Amazon via a referral and received the OA link after 10 days. The Online Assessment (OA) on 27th April included two medium-difficulty questions, behavioral questions, and a work style assessment. After a recruiter call, my interviews were scheduled post-18th May due to a vacation. The initial DSA + LLD interviews on 19th May were rescheduled due to interviewer unavailability. On 27th May, during the DSA Round, I had a 10-15 minute LP discussion. I solved a variation of the Max Island question (changing one 0 to 1) and discussed a simple hashing-based question. The LLD Round on 17th June started with a 15-minute LP discussion. I designed an Issue management system (with different priorities, escalations, and a wait queue), and the interviewer was satisfied. Also on 17th June, the HLD Round involved designing a Parking Lot system. I initially discussed LLD aspects, but the interviewer was supportive and asked meaningful LLD-related questions. The last 15 minutes were for LP questions. The Bar Raiser round on 23rd June focused on HLD, as expected. After a 10-15 minute LP discussion, I designed an Amazon Locker System in 40-45 minutes, effectively utilizing knowledge from other systems. I answered questions on concurrency and scaling properly. I received a congratulatory email after two days, followed by a verbal offer discussion. My verbal offer included a Base Pay of 43 LPA, Bonus of 15.3 + 12, RSUs, resulting in a Total First Year CTC of approximately 60 LPA. I attempted to negotiate, but the recruiter confirmed they could not go over 61 LPA. I also had another offer of ~55 LPA, but I didn't prefer that profile. The job location is Bangalore, and the team is related to Amazon Fresh.
