Summary
I interviewed for a Tech Architect (Sr. Engineer II) role at Addepar in Pune. Despite clearing all technical rounds, I was ultimately rejected after the Hiring Manager and Leadership rounds, which I believe impacted my outcome.
Full Experience
I recently went through the interview process for a Tech Architect (Sr. Engineer II) position at Addepar in Pune. The process involved seven distinct rounds, indicating a thorough evaluation.
- Round 1 (Hacker Rank): This was a coding round consisting of two LeetCode Medium-level problems.
- Round 2 (Live Coding): I was asked to perform live coding focusing on a generic bank transaction scenario.
- Round 3 (Live Application Coding): This round involved live coding an application with an emphasis on Database CRUD operations.
- Round 4 (Tech Deep Dive): This was a discussion round where I talked in depth about my past projects.
- Round 5 (System Design): The challenge was to design a Movie Ticket Booking Application specifically for a single theater.
- Round 6 (Hiring Manager Round): This round focused on cultural fitment aspects.
- Round 7 (Leadership Round): The final stage involved an interview with a leader.
While I successfully navigated all the technical rounds, I believe my performance in the Hiring Manager round might have led to my rejection. It was disappointing not to receive detailed feedback from the recruiter regarding what specifically went wrong.
